I'm Adam Seipel and curiosity guides my life.

The teachers and family members who accompanied my childhood always encouraged me to dream, to take chances and to explore my curiosities and wonder. These pillars of my childhood set the cast for a lifelong learner.

I believe that all children -- and adults -- should feel encouraged to explore their wonders too.

TEACHER

Since 2008, I have taken my love of education to teachers and administrators. In fall of that year, I started helping other teachers in my district incorporate Google Sites, Docs and other tools into their instruction. Later, I continued introducing educators to Google Apps by piloting a 1:1 Chromebook program in my high school English class in which my students self-published an anthology of their own writing.

I work in Charlottesville, VA where I am a Learning Technology Integrator. I have the pleasure of working alongside teachers to help them prepare students for a future that includes maker spaces, coding and authentic creation. I am currently focused on aligning ed tech practices with the research-based concepts from John Hattie’s Visual Learning studies. Additionally, I have my Master’s degree in Instructional Technology, am a Google Certified Trainer and Google Certified Innovator.
